French Sevres Porcelain Ormolu Mounted hand painted framed miniature plaque of oval form, depicting a romantic scene with a seated lady and a kneeling gentleman offering the lady a bunch of flowers, both dressed in Eighteenth Century Costumes beside a lake with a landscape background. Mid to late Nineteenth Century.
Mounted in relief within its original rope edged ormolu frame with a large bow on top.
This piece has been later professionally re-framed within an elegant gilt wood frame of similar period, the original woven fabric has also been replaced. This piece is not glazed.
Condition: Good condition with no restoration to porcelain, no signature visible, some losses to giltwood frame at sides. The ormolu areas have been professionally re-gold plated
